We invite artists to submit up to 3 works for consideration for a group exhibition exploring collective grief, memory, and solidarity in a time shaped by political violence, displacement, and war.
This exhibition seeks work that responds to questions such as:
As the exhibition coincides with Day of the Dead, we also welcome works that engage with themes of remembrance, ritual, ancestry, and honoring the dead. This may include traditional or contemporary interpretations of altars, offerings, symbolic imagery, or personal/cultural practices of mourning.
We encourage submissions across the following media, including but not limited to: painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media.
Work may be personal, political, abstract, or narrative-based. We are especially interested in pieces that hold space for complexity, grief alongside care, mourning alongside resistance, memory alongside imagination.

This exhibition seeks work that responds to questions such as:
- What futures can we imagine beyond this moment?
- What does it look like to resist erasure in the present time?
- How do we move forward collectively in these trying times?
- How do we honor the memory of those we’ve lost when the conditions that caused the loss are still present?
- How do we stay connected to culture, the earth, indigeneity, and identity in times when connection is discouraged?
- What does solidarity look like?
- All themes of solidarity, connecting to the past and present, ritual as survival, memory as protection, solidarity as accountability, grief, dignity, and radical remembrance are strongly encouraged.

Important Dates
- Open Call: May 1st – June 14th
- Deadline to submit: June 14th
- Selected artists will be notified by July 1st
- Work should be received by July 19th
- Exhibition Dates: August 6, 2026 – November 7, 2026
- Opening Reception: Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 5 pm
- Closing Reception: Saturday, November 7, 2026 at 5 pm
- Work Pick Up / Ship Back: November 7, 2026 – November 14, 2026
