Sights Unseen: A Glimpse into Vallejo’s Artist Community
A Group Exhibition & Poetry Showcase by local artists
Vallejo is widely known as one of the most diverse cities in the country and just like the city, the Arts are equally and beautifully diverse. Sights Unseen: A Glimpse into Vallejo’s Artist Community captures a glimpse of the diverse local talent in one space, a site yet unseen in Vallejo. This exhibition showcases works ranging from sculpture to oil painting, figurative to abstract as well as subject matters ranging from political to beautiful landscapes. Curated by the Vallejo Art Walk Team in collaboration with El Comalito Collective Cultural Arts Center, this show allows viewers to see into a few of the many windows of local talented artists.
“The Cal Maritime Community Art Gallery” is a partnership between Cal Maritime Conference & Events and the Vallejo Art Walk hosted at the Cal Maritime Anchor Center. Cal Maritime's Anchor Center is home to community educational programming and rental space for outside organizations. The center features a large event space that can accommodate approximately 100 people, and two smaller breakout rooms that are the perfect size for classes or meetings. Located just two blocks from the Ferry Building, and directly behind the Vallejo Transit Center, the Anchor Center is in a convenient Bay Area location.
Thank you to Cal Maritime Conference & Events, Vallejo Art Walk & The Vallejo Community for making this all possible.
